In the first part, I will present a recent study of the statistical links between reflected and transmitted light from a strongly scattering medium that allows one to modify the transmitted light with reflected information only.

In the second part, I will discuss some quantum properties of light stuck into 1D chain of disordered two levels systems, and give a special interest to the localization of the excitations inside the medium.
