BRAVO to Chaimae Azdad, Raed Hlayhel, Jimmy Murari and Bérénice Renard, 2nd year students in Saint-Étienne, received (and rewarded!) by MS BEAUTiLAB for their work in optical characterization of cosmetic products.
How to characterize the visual attributes of innovative make-up products, such as glow, coverage, shade enhancement, soft focus? Can various product formulations be compared according to these criteria through physical measurements?
These are the questions posed by MS BEAUTiLAB (formerly Strand Cosmetics Europe, official sponsor of the SIT 2020 event) that the four students tried to answer during their TP-project in autumn 2019 under the supervision of Lou Gevaux and Mathieu Hébert.
On the basis of interesting results, the students were invited this Thursday, March 12, at MS Beautilab in Lentilly (Lyon region) to present to the company's Research and Innovation and Advanced Research Directors their experimental research and interesting conclusions, which advance the school's expertise in the cosmetics field, particularly on make-up skins, and the interaction with the major players in the field.
The students had the surprise and pleasure of leaving with a complete set of products manufactured by the company.
