Portrait de Lucie Leboulleux

Congratulations to Lucie Leboulleux (SupOptique 2015) who receives the L'Oréal-Unesco Young Talent Award for Women in Science.
Lucie develops digital tools for direct imaging of exoplanets and is involved in the dissemination of science. In particular, Lucie found the Saint-Etienne site of the Institut d'Optique a favorable environment for the blossoming of her passion for astronomy, before leaving to do a thesis in co-supervision between the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore and the observatory in Marseille, then a post-doc at LESIA.

This prize reflects of course on the whole of our multi-site school.

In addition, Lucie had done her end-of-studies internship at SupOptics at the Gemini South Observatory in Chile, an internship co-supervised by Gaetano Sivo and Caroline Kulcsár (Imaging and Information group of the Charles Fabry Laboratory). The objective of the internship was to improve the tilt mode correction of the GeMS multi-conjugate adaptive optics system.
